Ryan Dubois, PT, DPT
Ryan Dubois is a Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. His passion for physical therapy began after experiencing multiple injuries himself, including a severe knee injury from a skiing accident and another from a car accident. After undergoing surgery at NWOS and extensive rehabilitation, he was inspired by the impact his physical therapist had on his recovery and chose to pursue a career helping others in the same way.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Pre-PT from Eastern Washington University, graduating magna cum laude with Honors Val Ad Maxima. He then completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University in 2017. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a PT aide in an outpatient clinic and organized a local hippotherapy program for two years.
Ryan joined Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists in 2024 and primarily works at NWOS Physical Therapy in Spokane Valley. Prior to joining NWOS, he worked in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. He has a strong passion for patient education and believes that helping patients understand their condition is essential to achieving the best outcomes. His goal is to work collaboratively with each patient, empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need to restore function and return to the activities they enjoy.
Ryan is a Certified Soft Tissue Manual Therapist (STMT) and specializes in helping patients improve their mobility and performance through hands-on techniques, including myofascial release, various massage techniques, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, and kinesio taping. He has also earned certifications in both cupping and kinesio taping.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time in the outdoors, being active with his wife and four children. He can often be found hiking, camping, skiing, fishing, hunting, playing disc golf, or volunteering at his local church.
