Gary Kaneshige, M.D.
Dr. Gary Kaneshige is a board-certified anesthesiologist at The Orthopaedic Surgery Center. He joined Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists in 2021 after 17 years with Anesthesia Associates in Spokane. Prior to joining Anesthesia Associates in 2004, he was an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of California at Irvine, Dr. Kaneshige went on to receive his Medical Doctorate degree at The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. Following medical school, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine with Johns Hopkins School of Medicine at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon completion of his internship, he completed his residency in Anesthesiology and then a fellowship in Pediatric and Cardiac Anesthesiology with Johns Hopkins School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
He is board certified by The American Board of Anesthesiology.
Outside of his work, Dr. Kaneshige enjoys skiing, golfing, woodworking, cars, and cooking, and considers himself an audiophile.
