Dr. Lewis Moss is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction. He specializes in total hip and knee replacement, including complex and revision procedures. He is joining Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists in May 2025. Prior to joining NWOS, he has served as an orthopedic surgeon at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and St. Francis Orthopedic Clinic in Southern California.
Dr. Moss earned his Bachelor of Science in Materials Science Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and went on to complete an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center’s Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York.
Dr. Moss is actively involved in orthopedic research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. He currently serves as a principal investigator in ongoing clinical trials focused on joint replacement outcomes. In 2024, he was honored with the Golden Apple Award for Best Resident Educator at Harbor-UCLA.
When he’s not in the operating room or collaborating on research, Dr. Moss enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors.
